JFK’s War with the National Security Establishment: Why Kennedy Was Assassinated Paperback – September 10, 2014

by Douglas Horne (Author), Jacob Hornberger (Foreword)

Ever since researchers and commentators began questioning the conclusions of the Warren Report on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the response has been: Why would the U.S. national-security establishment — that is, the military and the CIA — kill Kennedy? As Douglas P. Horne details in this ebook, JFK’s War with the National Security Establishment: Why Kennedy Was Assassinated, the answer is because Kennedy’s ideas about foreign-policy collided with those of the U.S. national-security establishment during the height of the Cold War. In the eyes of the military and the CIA, Kennedy’s policies posed a grave threat to national security.

Horne served as Chief Analyst for Military Records for the Assassination Records Review Board (ARRB). This was the federal agency that Congress established to secure the disclosure and release of JFK-related records and documents after the public outcry generated by Oliver Stone’s movie JFK. Horne is the author of Inside the Assassination Records Review Board: The U.S. Government’s Final Attempt to Reconcile the Conflicting Medical Evidence in the Assassination of JFK, a five-volume work that focuses primarily on the autopsy of Kennedy’s body that was conducted by the U.S. military.

Douglas Horne's analysis as always is extremely persuasive in creating a motive within the military and the CIA for the assassination of JFK. "Kennedy's policies posed a grave threat to national security..." Shortly after the Cuban Missile Crisis, Kennedy called in the boys from the National Security Council to compliment them on the successful conclusion of the crisis. General LeMay, in no uncertain terms said, "We Lost." It was clear that the whole NSC thought Kennedy sold out. By then they had concluded JFK represented a clear and present danger to the survival of the United States. There could be no more pressing motive for the assassination. So we have all three of the elements for murder, Means, Motive and Opportunity. The cover up of the assassination was yet to come. But with the Warren Report, the conspirators bought time, lots of time. Decades of obfuscation. surely the conspirators knew eventually the truth would out. Horne as the Chief Analyst for Military Records for the Assassination Records Review Board (ARRB) has pulled away the veil of obfuscation and revealed the truth. His five volume treatise "Inside the Assassination Records Review Board" exposes the Military-Security cabal's fingerprints all over the JFK autopsy cover up. The ARRB reconstruction of the autopsy, the Best Evidence, reveals not just the accessory after the fact but the forensic autopsy now supplies the means and opportunity needed to prove the real perpetrators of the JFK murder: The assassins now have a name. But the scary truth is not that the Military-Security cabal have been exposed, but rather by now, no one cares

JFK assassination expert: Lee Harvey Oswald lone gunman theory is ‘bulls–t’

By Heather Robinson | February 5, 2022

Dr. Cyril Wecht distrusts the US government. And he’s proud of it.

The forensic pathologist — who declared in 1978 that Lee Harvey Oswald did not act alone in assassinating President John F. Kennedy — is now 90 and still sticking to his story.

Wecht’s latest book, “The JFK Assassination Dissected” (Exposit Books), summarizes his six decades of research into the subject, and pokes holes in the conclusion made by the seven-man Warren Commission that Oswald, without any help, shot and killed Kennedy when his motorcade drove past the Texas School Book Depository in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963.

“Young people are still being taught that the 35th president was murdered by a lone gunman, and that is simply bulls–t,” Wecht boomed during an interview at his modest office in downtown Pittsburgh last month.

Nearly 60 years ago, the commission concluded that Oswald killed Kennedy because he was a disaffected, profoundly maladjusted loner with communist sympathies. But Wecht still believes the shooter may have been a hired gun committing murder for the CIA.

Oswald “had almost certainly been a CIA agent of some kind,” says Wecht, but the directive to kill may have come from higher up. Allen Dulles, director of the CIA from 1953 to 1961, had overseen the disastrous Bay of Pigs invasion to oust Cuban dictator Fidel Castro and had reason to be disgruntled. Dulles also ended up in prime position to participate in a coverup, Wecht conjectured.

“Kennedy had fired Allen Dulles because he was really pissed off about what the CIA was doing,” said Wecht. “Then who gets appointed to the Warren Commission? Dulles. It stinks to high heaven.”

Tanned, vigorous and dressed sharply in a black jacket and red necktie, Wecht said he wrote his book now for the sake of the truth — and his advancing age.

Study: US is an oligarchy, not a democracy

The US is dominated by a rich and powerful elite.

So concludes a recent study by Princeton University Prof Martin Gilens and Northwestern University Prof Benjamin I Page.

This is not news, you say.

Perhaps, but the two professors have conducted exhaustive research to try to present data-driven support for this conclusion. Here's how they explain it:

Multivariate analysis indicates that economic elites and organised groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on US government policy, while average citizens and mass-based interest groups have little or no independent influence.

THE SECRET TEAM

By Col. Fletcher Prouty

Select Excerpts

From President to Ambassador, Cabinet Officer to Commanding

General, and from Senator to executive assistant-all these men have their

sources of information and guidance. Most of this information and

guidance is the result of carefully laid schemes and ploys of pressure

groups. In this influential coterie one of the most interesting and effective

roles is that played by the behind the scenes, faceless, nameless,

ubiquitous briefing officer.

He is the man who sees the President, the Secretary, the Chairman

of the Joint Chiefs of Staff almost daily, and who carries with him the

most skillfully detailed information. He is trained by years of experience

in the precise way to present that information to assure its effectiveness.

He comes away day after day knowing more and more about the man he

has been briefing and about what it is that the truly influential pressure

groups at the center of power and authority are really trying to tell these

key decision makers. In Washington, where such decisions shape and

shake the world, the role of the regular briefing officer is critical.

Leaders of government and of the great power centers regularly leak

information of all kinds to columnists, television and radio commentators,

and to other media masters with the hope that the material will surface and

thus influence the President, the Secretary, the Congress, and the public.

Those other inside pressure groups with their own briefing officers have

direct access to the top men; they do not have to rely upon the media,

although they make great use of it. They are safe and assured in the

knowledge that they can get to the decision maker directly. They need no

middleman other than the briefing officer. Such departments as Defense,

State, and the CIA use this technique most effectively.

Walkthrough: Warren Commission Executive Sessions

The Warren Commissioners met in secret executive session on multiple occasions. Originally marked "top secret," the transcripts of these meetings were declassified in the years following the Commission's work, some of them only after Freedom of Information Act lawsuits by Harold Weisberg.

These transcripts provide a fascinating glimpse at the Commissions' inner workings, reveal its political motivations and constraints, and provide clues to some of the mysteries of the JFK assassination.

The Commissioners were:

Earl Warren, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court

Richard Russell, Democratic Senator from Georgia

John Sherman Cooper, Republican Senator from Kentucky

Hale Boggs, Democratic Congressman from Louisiana

Gerald Ford, Republican Congressman from Michigan

Allen Dulles, former Director of the CIA

John McCloy, former High Commissioner of Germany

The Chief Counsel, former Solicitor General J. Lee Rankin, was selected after the first two meetings.
