This is beautiful. My 5th Great Grandfather rode with Paul Revere. Captain Ebenezer Dorr (1738-1809). There are many other ancestors from these times but Captain Ebenezer always struck me as particularly relevant.

I only found out about my great great grandfather last year when my sister gave me her scrapbook on our families heritage to look at. I then looked him up online and found out more abaout him. As a major he commanded a fort in Kentucky territory during the French and Indian wars. He became a colonel by the time the US Revolution took place.

How long indeed it takes us to discover our real history. Just discovered last year that Ebenezer was an ancestor. Have done genealogy research for years as a hobby. It is revealing of true history.
