“Well we obviously disagree.”—Mr Roe

Yes indeed, obvously. In fact I don’t hold out the slightest hope of convincing you of anything concerning the assassination of John Kennedy. You obviously have made up your mind and won’t be moved no matter what evidence might be put before you.

Being stuck in the rut of propagating the 58 year old Warren Report is as bacward looking as one can get…more than half a century has gone by. And in that time many new revelations have come forth concerning the conspiracy to kill president Kennedy. Several government commission as well as citizen researchers have revealed startling things about the assassenation and especially about the accused assassin Lee Oswald.

I watched the movie ‘Parkland’ a few days ago, a Tom Hanks production. Mr. Hanks is a promoter of Bugiosi’s absurd fabulations. In that film Marguerite Oswald was depicted as a cantankerous old nut because she insisted that her son Lee was an agent of the federal government. Now it turns out that Marguerite was correct. Lee Oswald was in fact an agent of ONI. Office of Naval Intellegence.

**John M. Newman**

John M. Newman spent 20 years with the U.S. Army Intelligence (http://www.inscom.army.mil/). This included serving in in Thailand (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thailand), the Philippines (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philippines), Japan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan), and China (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/China). He eventually became executive assistant to the director of the National Security Agency (NSA).

After leaving the NSA Newman joined the University of Maryland (http://www.umd.edu/) where he taught courses in Soviet, Chinese Communist, East Asian, and Vietnam War history, as well as Sino-Soviet and U.S.-Soviet relations.

Newman is the author of JFK and Vietnam: (http://www.amazon.co.uk/JFK-Vietnam-Deception-Intrigue-Struggle/dp/0446516783/ref=sr_11_1/202-8909125-0335819?ie=UTF8) Deception, Intrigue, and the Struggle for Power (http://www.amazon.co.uk/JFK-Vietnam-Deception-Intrigue-Struggle/dp/0446516783/ref=sr_11_1/202-8909125-0335819?ie=UTF8) (1992) and *Oswald and the CIA* (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Oswald-CIA-John-Newman/dp/0786701315/sr=1-1/qid=1158843611/ref=sr_1_1/202-8909125-0335819?ie=UTF8&s=books) (1995). He also served as served as an adviser to Oliver Stone (https://spartacus-educational.com/JFKstoneO.htm) while he was making *JFK* (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102138/) and was one of the experts called upon to advise the JFK Assassination Records Review Board (https://spartacus-educational.com/JFKassboard.htm)..

In 1995 Wayne Smith (https://spartacus-educational.com/JFKsmithW.htm), chief of the Centre for International Policy in Washington, arranged a meeting on the assassination of John F. Kennedy (https://spartacus-educational.com/USAkennedyJ.htm), in Nassau, Bahamas. Others in attendance were Gaeton Fonzi (https://spartacus-educational.com/JFKfonzi.htm), Dick Russell (https://spartacus-educational.com/JFKrussellR.htm), Noel Twyman (https://spartacus-educational.com/JFKtwyman.htm), Anthony Summers (https://spartacus-educational.com/JFKsummers.htm), Peter Dale Scott (https://spartacus-educational.com/JFKscottD.htm), Jeremy Gunn, John Judge, Andy Kolis, Peter Kornbluh, Mary and Ray LaFontaine, Jim Lesar, Alan Rogers, Russ Swickard, Ed Sherry, and Gordon Winslow.

Some high-level Cuban officials attended the conference. This included Fabian Escalante (https://spartacus-educational.com/JFKescalante.htm), Carlos Lechuga (https://spartacus-educational.com/JFKlechuga.htm), a former Cuban diplomat, and Arturo Rodriguez, a State Security official. Escalante revealed details of the confession made by Tony Cuesta (https://spartacus-educational.com/JFKcuesto.htm). He also informed the group they had a spy in the anti-Castro community in Miami and knew about the plot to kill Kennedy.

A new edition of *Oswald and the CIA* (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Oswald-CIA-Documented-Relationship-Government/dp/1602392536/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1220872471&sr=1-1) was published in 2008. Newman argues that James Angleton (https://spartacus-educational.com/SSangleton.htm) was probably the key figure in the assassination of John F. Kennedy (https://spartacus-educational.com/USAkennedyJ.htm): "In my view, whoever Oswald's direct handler or handlers were, we must now seriously consider the possibility that Angleton was probably their general manager. No one else in the Agency had the access, the authority, and the diabolically ingenious mind to manage this sophisticated plot. No one else had the means necessary to plant the WWIII virus in Oswald's files and keep it dormant for six weeks until the president's assassination. Whoever those who were ultimately responsible for the decision to kill Kennedy were, their reach extended into the national intelligence apparatus to such a degree that they could call upon a person who knew its inner secrets and workings so well that he could design a failsafe mechanism into the fabric of the plot. The only person who could ensure that a national security cover-up of an apparent counterintelligence nightmare was the head of counterintelligence."

Other books by John Newman include: *Where Angels Tread Lightly: The Assassination of President Kennedy: Volume 1* (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Where-Angels-Tread-Lightly-Assassination/dp/1478302410/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Where+Angels+Tread+Lightly%3A+The+Assassination+of+President+Kennedy%3A+Volume+1&qid=1619889138&s=books&sr=1-1) (2015), *Countdown to Darkness: The Assassination of President Kennedy Volume II* (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Countdown-Darkness-Assassination-President-Kennedy/dp/1511503947/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Countdown+to+Darkness%3A+The+Assassination+of+President+Kennedy+Volume+II%3A+Volume+2&qid=1619889189&s=books&sr=1-1) (2017) and *Into the Storm: The Assassination of President Kennedy Volume III* (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Into-Storm-Assassination-President-Kennedy/dp/172264897X/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Into+the+Storm%3A+The+Assassination+of+President+Kennedy+Volume+III&qid=1619889271&s=books&sr=1-1) (2019).

Newman has revealed that Lee Oswald was ONI. and was assigned to go to the Soviet Union to learn what the Soviets knew of the U2 spyplane program. Recall that Oswald searved at Atsugi US Naval Base prior to “defecting” to the USSR.

Oswald’s next assignment was to inflitrate the Bannister organization in New Orleans. It was there that Oswald found out the information that led to the raid by US agents on the LaComb training base run by David Ferry

This seems to be when Angleton discovered Oswald and his infiltration of the Guy Bannister opperation for a second invasion of Cuba by the Anti-Castro Cubans.

Oswald had gone undercover as an anti-Castro supporter. we all know that whole story.

Angleton decided Oswald would be the perfect fall guy for the planned Kennedy hit. and made arrangements with the Paines to get involved with the Oswalds. Ruth Paine was the proximate source of Oswald getting the job at the Texax Book Depository Building in Dallas,

The scene was set, and the other members of the conspiracy in the miiliary and Secret Service put the plan in action for the hit to take place in the trip JFK planned for Dallas.

“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”~John F. Kennedy

IN ALL LIKELIHOOD there does not exist a single American community where reside 12 men or women, good and true, who presume that Lee Harvey Oswald did not assassinate President Kennedy. No more savage comment can be made in reference to the breakdown of the Anglo-Saxon system of jurisprudence. At the very foundation of our judicial operation lies a cornerstone which shelters the innocent and guilty alike against group hysteria, manufactured evidence, overzealous law enforcement officials, in short, against those factors which militate for an automated, prejudged, neatly packaged verdict of guilty. It is the sacred right of every citizen accused of committing a crime to the presumption of innocence.

[…]

That which intervenes between the zealous investigator and the jury is due process of law, developed at great cost in human life and liberty over the years. It is the right to have irrelevant testimony barred. It is the right to have facts, not hopes or thoughts or wishes or prejudicial opinions, presented. It is the right to test by cross-examination the veracity of every witness and the value of his testimony. It is, perhaps above all, the right to counsel of one’s own choice, so that all the other rights may be protected. In this defense, Oswald has forfeited all rights along with his life.~Mark Lane – December 19, 1963
